Oxicem® Black 1L

Oxicem® Black 1 L is a water-based decorative oxidizing agent formulated to achieve black patina finishes on cement-based surfaces. It chemically reacts with the substrate, creating a translucent effect that intensifies its texture and provides visual depth. Ideal for interior and exterior design projects with an industrial, vintage, or understated aesthetic.

How to use

1. Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free of wax, paint, or sealant residues.
2. Protect non-treatable surfaces (glass, metals, wood).
3. Shake the product well before use.
4. Apply a uniform layer with the desired tool, avoiding accumulation.
5. Allow to dry for 1 to 2 hours.
6. For greater intensity, apply a second coat when the first is completely dry.
7. Wash with water and neutralize with baking soda or ammonia.
8. Once dry, apply a protective varnish like Topsealer® WT to improve resistance and facilitate cleaning.

Coverage

Approximately 10 m²/L per coat, depending on the type of substrate and application technique.

Storage conditions

Store in its original closed container, in a dry and ventilated place, between 5 °C and 30 °C. Protect from frost and direct sunlight. Shelf life: up to 12 months from the manufacturing date.
