Oxicem® Brown 1L LQ

Oxicem® Brown 1 L LQ is a water-based oxidizing agent designed to create decorative brown patina effects on cementitious surfaces. It chemically reacts with the substrate, creating a semi-transparent, aged coloration that maintains the visible original texture. Ideal for rustic or industrial decorative finishes, it is applied indoors and outdoors on microcement, polished concrete, or mortars.

Main features

• Mineral reactive in a water-based solution, solvent-free.
• Provides an aged brown finish with a warm and irregular tone.
• Does not form a film or completely cover the surface: it respects the texture.
• Compatible with manual and mechanical tools: brush, roller, trowel, sponge, or spray gun.
• Suitable for absorbent substrates such as microcement or concrete.
• Color stable against light and the passage of time, especially when sealed.

How to use

1. Clean the substrate, ensuring it is dry and free of waxes, paints, or sealers.
2. Protect adjacent areas that should not be oxidized (glass, metals, wood, etc.).
3. Shake the product before applying.
4. Apply a layer with the desired tool, evenly and without oversaturating.
5. Allow to dry for 1 to 2 hours.
6. If more intensity or color depth is desired, apply a second coat when the previous one is completely dry.
7. Wash the surface with water and neutralize with a baking soda or ammonia solution.

Performance

Yields approximately 10 m²/L per coat, depending on the type of substrate, porosity, and application technique.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry, cool, and ventilated place, between 5 °C and 30 °C. Keep the container closed and protected from frost and direct sunlight. Shelf life: up to 12 months under optimal conditions.
