System

How the system is applied

  1. 1 Choose your fibre

Modified polypropylene, alkali-resistant, or multifilament glass, with high tensile, impact and abrasion resistance.

Polypropylene fiber for stamped concrete Top 12mm - 0.6KG
  2. 2 Incorporation

Add it to the mixer or concrete mixer after the aggregate and cement. Never directly into the water or by hand mixing.

  3. 3 Mixing

Mix at maximum speed for 3–5 minutes to distribute the fibre evenly.

  4. 4 Application

Apply the concrete or mortar as usual, respecting joints, thicknesses and special details of the decorative system.

Frequently asked questions about Fibratop

What are Fibratop fibres used for?
They are 12 mm reinforcing fibres added to the concrete or decorative mortar mix to improve its cohesion and reduce cracking caused by shrinkage and mechanical stress, extending the durability of the floor or coating.
What materials can I use them in?
They are designed for printed concrete, microcement and decorative mortars, as well as continuous floors, coatings and cement-based precast elements.
What is the difference between polypropylene fibre and glass fibre?
The polypropylene one is a 100% modified polypropylene fibre with chemical resistance to alkalis. The glass one is multifilament, with high tensile, impact and abrasion resistance, and is inert to alkalis and acids.
How do I add the fibre to the mix?
Add it directly into the mixer or concrete mixer after the aggregate and cement, and mix at maximum speed for 3-5 minutes so it spreads evenly. Do not add it directly to the water or mix by hand.
Does it change how the concrete or mortar is applied?
No. Once mixed, apply the material as usual following the decorative system specifications and respecting joints, thicknesses and special points.
How should I store the fibres?
In their original packaging, in a dry, ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
