Oxicem® Black 25L

Oxicem® Negro 25 L is a water-based mineral oxidizing agent that chemically acts on cementitious surfaces to create a decorative black patina finish. Its aged, semi-transparent, and deep effect intensifies the texture of the substrate without completely covering it, generating an industrial and timeless look. It is designed for application on microcement, polished concrete, or mortars both indoors and outdoors. The treated surface can be protected with varnishes such as those from the Topsealer® range to increase its resistance and durability.

How to use

1. Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free of waxes, varnishes, or sealers.
2. Protect all nearby surfaces that should not be treated (metal, glass, wood).
3. Shake the container well before use.
4. Apply a uniform layer with the desired tool, avoiding accumulations.
5. Allow to dry for 1 to 2 hours.
6. If greater intensity is desired, apply a second coat once the previous one is dry.
7. Wash with clean water and neutralize with baking soda or ammonia.
8. Once completely dry, protect the surface with an appropriate varnish.

Coverage

Approximately 10 m²/L per coat, depending on the porosity of the substrate and the application method.

Storage conditions

Store the product in its original, tightly closed container, in a dry, cool, and ventilated place, between 5 °C and 30 °C. Protect from frost and direct sunlight. Estimated shelf life: 12 months from the manufacturing date.
