Component A Industtrial MEDIUM is part of the two-component epoxy system Industtrial, developed by Topciment® for high-performance indoor applications. It is an epoxy microcement with medium-fine aggregate, ideal as a finish coat when high mechanical resistance and a smoother finish than that of BASE are required.
This product is suitable for floors and walls in demanding environments such as offices, homes, commercial premises, or medium-high traffic areas. It offers a balance between resistance, ease of application, and modern aesthetics.

Substrate preparation
- Ensure that the surface is clean, dry, and free of dirt, grease, or loose particles.
- Apply the appropriate primer according to the substrate (e.g., Primacem Plus or Primapox® 100 Barrier).

Product mixing
- Mix 4 parts of Component A Industtrial MEDIUM with 1 part of Component B (epoxy resin).
- Stir at low speed with a mechanical mixer for 2 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Application
- Apply in 1 or 2 coats with a metal trowel over a base previously prepared with Industtrial BASE or XL.
- Allow to dry between coats for 8–12 hours. Sand with 80–120 grit before applying the final coat or sealer.
- For a finer decorative finish, Industtrial Fine or Extra Fine can then be applied.

- Topsealer WT 100 for maximum water and chemical resistance.
- Topsealer DSV for solvent-based finishes.

What is Industtrial and what is it used for?
Industtrial is a two-component, water-based epoxy microcement for interiors, designed for heavily worn floors such as shopping centres, restaurants, hotels, garages, industrial units or offices. It offers high hardness, good abrasion resistance and lower water absorption than conventional microcements.
Do I need to buy both Component A and Component B?
Yes. Component A is the microcement (XL, BASE, MEDIO or LISO) and Industtrial Component B is the epoxy hardener that activates it. Choose the Component B that matches the size of your Component A and mix them with a mixer at low speed until you get a homogeneous mass.
Which grain size should I choose: XL, BASE, MEDIO or LISO?
XL and BASE are preparation coats: first apply two coats of either one. On top go two finishing coats: MEDIO, for a slightly smoother finish than BASE, or LISO, fine-grained with a very soft texture.
Can it be applied outdoors or over underfloor heating?
No. Industtrial is for indoor use only and, according to the technical data sheet, cannot be installed over underfloor heating.
What primer does the substrate need?
It depends on the substrate: Primacem PLUS on non-absorbent surfaces, Primacem ABS on absorbent ones and Primapox Barrier if there is capillary or vapour moisture. Topciment recommends Primacem PLUS for this system; apply the microcement while the primer is still tacky.
Does it need to be sealed afterwards?
Yes, it must always be sealed, 24-48 hours after the last coat. Topsealer WT Dragon is recommended for floors; on walls that will not be exposed to moisture, Topsealer WT All in One is enough.
What is the coverage of Component A Industtrial MEDIO?
