Primapox® 100 BARRIER Component A is a two-component epoxy primer formulated to act as a vapor barrier on cementitious substrates. It is applied before decorative coating systems such as microcement or self-leveling compounds, ensuring excellent adhesion and protection against rising damp. Its 100% solids epoxy base provides a continuous, waterproof finish with high chemical and mechanical resistance.

Instructions for Use

1. Substrate Preparation
   The substrate must be clean, dry, free of dust, grease, oil, loose particles, and contaminants. Mechanical sanding or milling is recommended if necessary.
2. Mixing
   Pour Component B into Component A in the indicated ratio (2:1 by weight). Mix with a mechanical stirrer at low revolutions for at least 2 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
3. Application
   Apply the product to the substrate using a roller, notched trowel, or spatula. It is recommended to apply 2 coats to achieve a good moisture barrier. The second coat should be applied once the first coat is dry to the touch.
4. Curing
   The full curing time is 7 days. Do not apply to substrates with standing water on the surface.

Yield

Approximately 0.30 – 0.50 kg/m² per coat, depending on the type of application and porosity of the substrate.
