Component A Industrial SMOOTH 4.5 kg

The Industtrial Smooth Component A 4.5 kg is the base epoxy resin of the Industtrial system, a highly resistant decorative epoxy coating designed for application on interior walls. Its smooth finish and high adhesion make it ideal for professional decorative epoxy microcement systems with customizable shades through pigmentation.

Mixing ratios with component B

• The official mixing ratio is 100 parts of component A to 11.6 parts of component B.
• This translates to an approximate proportion of 8.6% by weight of component B over the total mixture, complying with the technical indications of the product data sheet.

Instructions for use

1. Homogenize component A by mechanical stirring at low speed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
2. If pigmentation is required, incorporate it before or after adding component B, depending on the chosen system.
3. Add component B respecting the indicated proportion (100 A : 11.6 B) and mix at low revolutions.
4. Apply on a clean, level, dust-free and grease-free substrate in a thin layer with a polyester or polycarbonate trowel.
5. The mixture has an approximate pot life of 60 min at 20 °C.
6. Allow to dry between each coat for 8–12 h, depending on environmental conditions.
7. Final curing is reached between 7 and 14 days.

Performance

• Applying the complete system (bases + final coat), consumption is estimated at 0.55 kg/m² per coat.
• A minimum standard proportion for the system would be to use 4 kg of A + 0.46 kg of B to cover approximately 7–8 m² with a single coat.

Storage conditions

Store in the original sealed container, in a dry and ventilated place, at temperatures between 15 °C and 30 °C. Do not expose to direct light or humidity. Estimated shelf life: 1 year if stored correctly.
