Component A Industrial BASE 18 Kg

Componente A Industtrial BASE is part of the two-component epoxy system Industtrial, designed for high-performance interior coatings. Its medium particle size makes it a versatile option as a base coat for decorative and functional applications in medium-high traffic areas such as offices, commercial premises, or homes.

This epoxy microcement stands out for its hardness, superior adhesion, and uniform finish. Its specific formulation allows for easy application on suitable substrates, combining with component B (water-based epoxy resin) to obtain a resistant, continuous, and durable coating.

Main features

1. High mechanical and chemical resistance, ideal for demanding interiors.
2. Excellent adhesion to the substrate, no need for mesh.
3. Medium particle size, ideal as an intermediate layer between XL and finishes.
4. Excellent workability, easy to apply and sand.
5. Compatible with fine finishes, such as Industtrial Fino.

Instructions for use

1. Substrate preparation
   • It must be clean, dry, free of grease, dust, or poorly adhered residues.
   • Prime with Primapox® 100 Barrier or Primacem Plus depending on the type of surface.
2. Product mixing
   • Add component B (epoxy resin) to component A Industtrial BASE in a 4:1 ratio and mix for 2 minutes until a uniform mass is obtained.
3. Application
   • Apply 1 or 2 coats of Industtrial BASE as a base coat.
   • Once dry, apply two coats of finishing microcement: Industtrial Medio, Fino or Extra Fino, depending on the desired decorative effect.
   • Sand between coats with 40-80 grit sandpaper.
4. Sealing
   • Protect with two coats of Topsealer WT 100 or Topsealer DSV.

Storage conditions

• Store in its original sealed container, in a cool and dry place between 10 ºC and 30 ºC.
• Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture.
