Acricem 25L

Acricem is a water-based acrylic resin, used as a component B in Topciment two-component microcement systems (Sttandard, Natture, and Atlanttic). Its solvent- and plasticizer-free formula provides cohesion, improves mortar workability, and significantly reduces the risk of cracking. Additionally, it can be used as a primer, stabilizing absorbent substrates before applying microcement.

Main characteristics

4. Prevents shrinkage cracks by reducing internal stresses.

How to use

As component B in two-component systems:

1. Pour the amount of Acricem resin into a clean container and add the pigment until a homogeneous color mixture is achieved.
2. Slowly incorporate component A (powdered microcement) while mixing with a low-speed mixer.
3. Mix for at least 4 minutes until a lump-free, dense, and uniform mass is obtained.
4. Let the mixture rest briefly before applying with a trowel.

As a primer:

1. Ensure that the substrate is dry, firm, clean, and free of loose particles.
2. Apply an even coat of Acricem with a brush, roller, or sprayer, avoiding puddles.
3. Allow to dry for a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 24 hours before applying microcement.

Yield

• As a primer: approximately 0.10 L/m², depending on the degree of absorption of the substrate.
• As component B: according to the system and amount of microcement used.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry and cool place, in its original closed container, protected from frost and direct sunlight. Recommended storage temperature: between 10 °C and 30 °C. Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture.
