Acricem is a water-based acrylic resin (component B) that acts as a binder in the preparation of Topciment two-component microcements: Sttandard, Natture and Atlanttic. Its main function is to improve the workability, adhesion, impermeability and mechanical resistance of the microcement once dry. In addition, it can be used as a primer to stabilize mineral substrates and ensure a good application base. It is a product free of solvents, plasticizers and ammonia, totally compatible with demanding environments.

Time between coats
As microcement component B:
- Pour the corresponding amount of Acricem resin into a clean container.
- Add the pigment according to the desired proportion, mixing until a homogeneous color is obtained.
- Then, gradually add component A (powdered microcement) while mixing with a low-speed mixer.
- Knead for at least 4 minutes until a dense, homogeneous mass without lumps is obtained.
- Let the mixture rest for a few minutes before applying.
As a primer on the substrate:
- The substrate must be clean, dry, stable, free of grease, oil or dust.
- Apply a thin and uniform layer of Acricem directly with a roller, brush or sprayer.
- Let dry between 30 minutes and a maximum of 24 hours before applying the microcement.
- Do not apply if humidity or rain is expected before the product is completely dry.

- As a primer: ≈ 0.10 L/m², depending on the porosity of the substrate.
- As component B: depends on the type and amount of microcement to be mixed.

What is Acricem and what is it used for?

Which resin do I need: Acricem or Acricem Pool?

How do I mix it with the microcement?
Pour the resin into a clean container, add the pigment and mix until the colour is uniform. Then gradually add the microcement powder, mixing at low speed until you get a lump-free mass, and let it rest for a few minutes before applying.
Can it be used as a primer?
Yes. Acricem works as a primer to stabilise mineral and cementitious substrates, and Acricem Pool for absorbent substrates. Apply a thin, even coat with a roller, brush or sprayer on a clean, dry substrate, and let it dry before applying the microcement.
Does it contain solvents?
No. Acricem is water-based and free of solvents, plasticisers and ammonia.
