Sttandard Microfino® S is a two-component decorative finishing microcement, specially designed for application on interior walls. Its fine texture provides an elegant finish, silky to the touch and with a marked artisanal character. It acts as a finishing coat over a previous Microbase layer and is mixed with Acricem resin (component B) to guarantee excellent workability, adhesion, and resistance.

Surface preparation:
- Ensure a clean, dry surface, free of dust or grease.
- Apply a previous base of two layers of Microbase, well-leveled.

Mixing:
- Mix 10 kg of Microfino S with approximately 3.0–3.5 L of Acricem resin.
- Dissolve the pigment in the resin beforehand and add the powder while mixing.
- Mix with a low-speed electric mixer for at least 4 minutes until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Application:
- Apply two thin layers of Microfino S with a metal or rubber trowel.
- Lightly sand between layers if a finer finish is desired.
- Allow to dry completely before applying Topsealer sealer.

What is the Sttandard system and which product do I need?
Sttandard is a two-component microcement for thin continuous coatings (1–3 mm). It is organised into a base coat (Sttandard Microbase, to level the substrate) and a finishing coat: Microfino for interior walls, Microdeck for interior floors and Microstone for exteriors.
What is Sttandard microcement mixed with?
All Sttandard products are component A (powder) and are mixed with Acricem resin as component B. First dissolve the pigment in the resin, then add the powder and mix at low speed for at least 4 minutes until you get a homogeneous paste.
What surfaces can I apply it on?
It bonds to concrete, mortar, ceramic, plaster and plasterboard, among other substrates, on floors, walls, stairs, ceilings and even furniture. The substrate must be clean, dry, stable and well levelled, always respecting expansion joints.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. Microbase is suitable for indoors and outdoors, and for the outdoor finish there is Sttandard Microstone (L or XL), with a natural non-slip texture designed for terraces, porches, patios and façades. Microfino and Microdeck are for indoor use.
How is the complete system applied?
Prepare the substrate (with Builtex mesh or Primacem primer if needed) and apply two coats of Microbase with a trowel, sanding between coats. Then apply two coats of the chosen finish (Microfino, Microdeck or Microstone) and sand lightly between coats if you want a finer finish.
Does it need sealing and what finishes can I achieve?
Yes, once dry it is protected with Topsealer varnish; the data sheet recommends two coats of Presealer followed by two coats of Topsealer, suggesting Topsealer WT Dragon. Depending on the sealer, the finish can be matt, satin or gloss.
