Efectto Quartz Super Grain 17kg

Efectto Quartz Super Grain 17 kg is a ready-to-use high-end decorative microcement for floors, part of the Efectto Quartz line. Its superior grain size formulation allows it to be applied in a base layer of up to 1 mm, ideal for continuous flooring that requires decorative finishes with a natural texture. Perfect for residential and commercial projects where quick results and seamless finishes are desired, suitable for both interiors and exteriors.

Main features

• Ready-to-use microcement with "Super Grain" (coarse grain) granulometry.
• Maximum thickness per coat: 1 mm, excellent adhesion.
• Density: 1.6 ± 0.1 g/cm³.
• High abrasion resistance (Taber value: 94 mg) and low water absorption.
• Very low VOC (16 g/L), suitable for indoor and outdoor environments.
• Suitable for renovation over various substrates: concrete, ceramic, plaster, plasterboard, etc.

Instructions for use

1. Level and consolidate the substrate, ensuring it is completely clean and free of dust or grease.
2. Apply appropriate primer according to the substrate: Primacem ABS on absorbent surfaces or Primacem PLUS on non-absorbent surfaces. Fill joints with Primacem Joint if applicable.
3. Homogenize the product with a mechanical or manual stirrer before use.
4. Spread the microcement with a polyester or polycarbonate trowel in a uniform layer of up to 1 mm.
5. Allow to dry between coats for 4–8 h; apply two coats to ensure aesthetic continuity.
6. Sand with appropriate grit according to grain size before applying the final coat.

Yield

Consumption is approximately 1.30 kg/m², corresponding to a 1 mm thick layer, ensuring continuous coverage with minimal joints.

Storage conditions

Store the product in its original sealed container, in a dry, ventilated place protected from temperatures between 10 °C and 30 °C. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight or excessive heat. Estimated shelf life: one year under suitable conditions.
