Primacem® GRIP 5Kg

Primacem® GRIP is an acrylic primer with aggregate, specially formulated to improve adhesion on non-absorbent surfaces. Thanks to its rough texture, it acts as an effective bonding bridge between smooth substrates (such as tiles, marble, or porcelain) and cementitious coatings like the microcements from the Sttandard, Evoluttion, or Industtrial range.

Ideal for use in renovation projects where it is not possible to remove the existing substrate.

Main characteristics

1. Sandy texture: Improves mechanical anchoring on smooth surfaces.
2. One-component: Ready to use, no mixing required.
3. Direct application: With a short-nap roller or brush.
4. Fast drying: Allows further application after 6 hours.

Instructions for use

1. Substrate preparation:
   • Thoroughly clean the substrate to remove dust, grease, or moisture.
   • Ensure it is completely dry before applying the product.
2. Application:
   • Shake the product before use.
   • Apply a uniform coat with a brush or short-nap roller.
   • Wait at least 6 hours (and no more than 24 hours) before applying microcement or subsequent coating.
3. Optimal conditions:
   • Application temperature: between 10ºC and 30ºC.
   • Do not apply outdoors if rain or high humidity is expected.
   
   

Performance

Approximately 0.25 L/m² in a single coat, depending on the type of substrate and absorption.
