Naturcem® High 25 L Yellow is a water-based concrete surface retarder, ready to use and completely biodegradable. Its chemical action allows delaying the setting of the cement on the surface, facilitating the decorative exposure of aggregates in pavements. It is ideal for obtaining non-slip and natural finishes on exposed concrete, both in urban works and decorative projects. It integrates perfectly with technical pavements made with Stonecem® Floor and can be part of decorative systems combined with microcement such as Evoluttion or Sttandard.

Time between coats
- Smooth and level the fresh concrete to ensure a uniform surface.
- Shake the container well before applying.
- Spray the product with a 0.79 mm nozzle, maintaining a pressure of 2 to 4 bars.
- Apply at a distance of 20–40 cm from the substrate, once the bleeding water has disappeared (approx. 30 minutes after pouring).
- Allow to act for 3 to 24 hours under normal conditions. Adjust the time depending on temperature and wind exposure.
- Wash with pressure water (100–150 bars), keeping the nozzle at a 45° angle, until the superficial cement layer is completely removed and the aggregate is exposed.

What is Naturcem® and what is it used for?
It is a water-based surface retarder for concrete. It delays the setting of the cement in the surface layer so that, after washing it off, the aggregate is exposed and you get a decorative finish with a natural, non-slip texture.
What is the difference between Naturcem® Low, Medium and High?
The etching grade changes with the aggregate size: Low (blue) grade 2 for 5-8 mm aggregates, Medium (pink) grade 4 for 10-14 mm and High (yellow) grade 5 for 14-18 mm. We recommend a test on site to adjust the depth.
Where can I use Naturcem®?
It is designed for decorative concrete paving, such as urban areas, pavements and outdoor surfaces, as well as street furniture and exposed-aggregate coatings.
How is Naturcem® applied?
It comes ready to use: shake it and spray it evenly onto the smoothed fresh concrete once the bleed water has disappeared (about 30 minutes after pouring), with a 0.79 mm nozzle at 2-4 bar. Avoid puddles and thick coats.
When and how is the surface washed to reveal the aggregate?
Between 3 and 24 hours after applying it, depending on temperature, sun and wind, wash with pressure water (100-150 bar) from 20-40 cm and at a 45° angle to remove the surface laitance.
Do I need to protect the surrounding areas, and in what conditions can I apply it?
It is biodegradable and solvent-free, and there is no need to protect the surroundings except painted façades and porous surfaces. Apply it with air and substrate temperatures between 5 °C and 30 °C and without excessive wind; the equipment is cleaned with water.
What is the coverage of Naturcem® High Yellow?
