Efectto Quartz Big Grain is a ready-to-use microcement with a coarse aggregate size (0.5 mm), designed for professionals seeking a distinctive texture and high mechanical resistance. This product, part of the Efectto Quartz system, is used as a base coat in continuous decorative coatings, both indoors and outdoors.

Thanks to its single-component paste formulation, it requires no mixing, which reduces application times and dosing errors. It is ideal for high-traffic floors where a robust finish with greater thickness is desired.

How to use

1. Substrate preparation
   • Ensure the surface is dry, clean, and free of dust or grease.
   • Apply an appropriate primer, such as Primacem Plus, depending on the substrate.
2. Microcement application
   • Stir the product until a homogeneous paste is obtained.
   • Apply two coats of Efectto Quartz Big Grain with a flexible metal trowel.
   • Wait at least 4 hours between coats.
   • Sand between coats with 40-grit sandpaper to remove imperfections.
3. Sealing and protection
   • Once dry and sanded, apply Topsealer WT All in One sealer in two coats to ensure protection against moisture and wear.
