Sttandard Microbase is a two-component powder microcement (component A) designed as a primer before applying finishing microcements such as Sttandard Microfino, Microdeck or Microstone; it can also be used as a rustic finish. It is applied in thin layers (1-3 mm) with a trowel over a clean, flat surface with prepared expansion joints. After mixing with component B (liquid Acricem resin), it offers excellent adhesion, workability and decorative versatility, being suitable for both indoor and outdoor floors and walls.

Time between coats
- Prepare the substrate: clean, dry, stable and free of contaminants. Optional reinforcement with Builtex mesh or priming with Primacem® as indicated.
- Mix component A (powder microcement) with component B (Acricem resin) and pigment, following proportions: 10 kg of powder + 2.5–3.0 L of resin.
- Knead until homogeneous (min. 4 min). Apply with a trowel in a 1–3 mm layer, "wet on wet" technique if texturizing is desired.
- Sand between layers to remove imperfections.
- After applying Microbase, proceed with successive layers of Microfino, Microdeck or Microstone according to the required finish.

What is the Sttandard system and which product do I need?
Sttandard is a two-component microcement for thin continuous coatings (1–3 mm). It is organised into a base coat (Sttandard Microbase, to level the substrate) and a finishing coat: Microfino for interior walls, Microdeck for interior floors and Microstone for exteriors.
What is Sttandard microcement mixed with?
All Sttandard products are component A (powder) and are mixed with Acricem resin as component B. First dissolve the pigment in the resin, then add the powder and mix at low speed for at least 4 minutes until you get a homogeneous paste.
What surfaces can I apply it on?
It bonds to concrete, mortar, ceramic, plaster and plasterboard, among other substrates, on floors, walls, stairs, ceilings and even furniture. The substrate must be clean, dry, stable and well levelled, always respecting expansion joints.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. Microbase is suitable for indoors and outdoors, and for the outdoor finish there is Sttandard Microstone (L or XL), with a natural non-slip texture designed for terraces, porches, patios and façades. Microfino and Microdeck are for indoor use.
How is the complete system applied?
Prepare the substrate (with Builtex mesh or Primacem primer if needed) and apply two coats of Microbase with a trowel, sanding between coats. Then apply two coats of the chosen finish (Microfino, Microdeck or Microstone) and sand lightly between coats if you want a finer finish.
Does it need sealing and what finishes can I achieve?
Yes, once dry it is protected with Topsealer varnish; the data sheet recommends two coats of Presealer followed by two coats of Topsealer, suggesting Topsealer WT Dragon. Depending on the sealer, the finish can be matt, satin or gloss.
What is the coverage of Sttandard Microbase?
