Overlay Ivory 25Kg

Overlay Marfil is an ivory-colored resurfacing mortar formulated for thin decorative pavements (10–20 mm). Ideal for renovating and leveling deteriorated surfaces such as stamped or polished concrete, it allows for the creation of homogeneous finishes without invasive construction. Compatible with Imacem® molds and applicable on stairs and outdoor areas thanks to its high mechanical resistance and stability against freeze-thaw cycles

Main characteristics

• Ivory-colored mineral resurfacing mortar in a 25 kg bag.
• Applicable in thicknesses between 10 and 20 mm, even by pumping.
• High mechanical resistance: compression ≥ 60 N/mm², flexural ≥ 12 N/mm².
• Resistant to light abrasion (≤ 9 cm³/50 cm²) and freeze-thaw cycles.
• Compatible with decorative finishes: stamped with Imacem® molds.
• Acts as a perfect leveling base coat before decorative finishes such as Stonecem® Floor.

Instructions for use

1. Prepare substrate: clean, respect joints and edges; apply a minimum 5 mm membrane before changes in material or thickness.
2. Priming: saturate the substrate without puddling and then apply Primapox® 100 Barrier
3. Mixing: combine the bag (25 kg) with 5 L of water, stirring for at least 3 minutes with a slow agitator
4. Application: pour and spread manually or by pumping in less than 15 minutes after mixing, using a screed or gauges; respect expansion joints
5. Stamped finish: when the mortar has a tight appearance and no visible moisture, apply Desmocem® (Powder or Liquid) release agent and stamp with Imacem® molds
6. Cleaning and cutting: remove release agent after 48 h and clean with a pressure washer; if no joints were planned, make them within 24 h
7. Final protection: seal with Sealcem® DSV or WT after at least 48 h of curing

Yield

• Approximate coverage: 2 kg/m²/mm of thickness.
• One 25 kg bag covers between 12 m² at 10 mm and 6 m² at 20 mm depending on porosity and application method

• Application temperature: substrate between 5 °C and 25 °C, ambient between 5 °C and 30 °C.

• Avoid air occlusion during mixing.

Storage conditions

Keep the bag tightly closed, in a dry place, protected from heat and frost. Avoid exposure to wind or direct light after opening.
