Builtex Mesh 1 x 50m GR160

Builtex Mesh 1 × 50 m GR160 is an extremely strong fiberglass mesh created to reinforce base coats in microcement systems. Its flat and strong structure provides stability and prevents the formation of cracks due to substrate movements, making it ideal for applications on floors, walls and surfaces subject to tension. It is part of the Builtex range of reinforcements.

Instructions for use

1. Substrate preparation: ensure it is clean, dry, stable and level.
2. First priming: for absorbent substrates, apply Primacem ABS or Acricem; for non-absorbent substrates, use Primacem Plus.
3. First base coat: apply a layer of base microcement (Microbase or equivalent) and lay the mesh while it is fresh.
4. Embedding: press the mesh with a trowel or roller to ensure proper adhesion.
5. Second base coat: apply an additional layer of base microcement that completely covers the mesh.
6. Continuation of the system: once the base is dry and sanded, proceed with the decorative cycle.

Each roll covers 50 m², effectively covering large linear or vertical surfaces.

Storage conditions

Store upright in its original packaging, in a dry, cool and ventilated place. Recommended storage temperature: between 10 °C and 30 °C. Protect from humidity and direct solar radiation. Estimated shelf life: 12 months under suitable conditions.
