Evoluttion Microbase XXL is a single-component preparation microcement designed to be the first layer in continuous decorative coating systems. With a coarse grain size, this product provides high consistency, ideal for creating a good structural base before applying decorative finishes such as Evoluttion Microdeck or Evoluttion Microfino.
As it does not require additional resins and is mixed only with water, it is a practical solution for construction professionals, microcement applicators, and decorators looking for resistant floor microcement, outdoor microcement base, or products for renovations without construction work.
Recommended for high-traffic floors, textured walls, irregular substrates, or quick renovations.

Surface preparation
- The surface must be clean, dry, firm, and free of grease or dust.
- Prime with Primacem Plus or Primacem ABS, depending on the substrate.

Product mixing
- Mix the contents of the bag with approximately 5.5 L of water for every 20 kg of product.
- Use an electric low-speed mixer until a homogeneous mass is achieved.
- Let stand for 2 minutes before application.

Application
- Apply two coats of product with a metal trowel.
- Sand between coats with 40 or 80 grit sandpaper.
- Allow to dry completely before applying the finishing coat.

Sealing
- Once the complete system has been applied, protect with varnishes such as Topsealer WT Dragon to ensure resistance to stains, water, and abrasion.

What sets Evoluttion apart from other microcements?
Evoluttion is a one-component microcement: it is only mixed with water (and pigment), with no need for resins. This simplifies on-site mixing and reduces the margin for error.
Which products make up the Evoluttion system?
Evoluttion Microbase (L, XL or XXL) is the preparation layer. The finish goes on top: Evoluttion Microfino, with a fine texture for walls and furniture, or Evoluttion Microdeck, designed for walkable indoor floors.
What surfaces can it be applied on?
It bonds to concrete, mortar, ceramic, plaster, plasterboard and MDF, on floors and walls. The substrate must be clean, dry, firm and grease-free, and should be primed beforehand with Primacem Plus or Primacem ABS depending on its absorption.
Can it be used outdoors?
Evoluttion Microbase and Evoluttion Microfino are suitable for indoors and outdoors. Evoluttion Microdeck, however, is designed for indoor floors.
How is it applied?
After priming, apply two coats of Evoluttion Microbase with a metal trowel, sanding between coats with 40 grit. Then apply two thin coats of the finish (Microfino or Microdeck) with a flexible trowel, sanding lightly between them. Do not apply coats thicker than 1 mm; the recommended total thickness is 1 to 3 mm.
Does it need sealing?
Yes. Once hardened (between 24 and 48 hours), it is sealed with the Presealer pore-sealing primer and a Topsealer WT varnish, such as Topsealer WT Dragon, in matt, satin or gloss finish.
