Evoluttion Microbase® L is a single-component preparation microcement, specially formulated for use as a base in continuous decorative systems. Its L granulometry provides a more robust texture, ideal for ensuring the adhesion and consistency of subsequent layers.
This microcement combines the convenience of a powder product that mixes only with water, eliminating the need for resins. It is perfect for indoor and outdoor floors and walls, and stands out for its excellent workability, mechanical resistance, and natural aesthetic.

Substrate preparation
- Clean and dry the surface.
- Apply an appropriate primer such as Primacem Plus if the substrate is absorbent, or Primacem ABS if it is not.

Product mixing
- Mix approximately 5.5 L of water for each 20 kg bag.
- Stir with an electric mixer until a homogeneous, lump-free paste is obtained.
- Let the mixture rest for 2 minutes before applying.

Application
- Apply with a metal trowel in two coats.
- Lightly sand between coats with 40 or 80 grit.
- After drying, apply a finishing microcement such as Evoluttion Microfino or Evoluttion Microdeck, depending on the desired use.

What sets Evoluttion apart from other microcements?
Evoluttion is a one-component microcement: it is only mixed with water (and pigment), with no need for resins. This simplifies on-site mixing and reduces the margin for error.
Which products make up the Evoluttion system?
Evoluttion Microbase (L, XL or XXL) is the preparation layer. The finish goes on top: Evoluttion Microfino, with a fine texture for walls and furniture, or Evoluttion Microdeck, designed for walkable indoor floors.
What surfaces can it be applied on?
It bonds to concrete, mortar, ceramic, plaster, plasterboard and MDF, on floors and walls. The substrate must be clean, dry, firm and grease-free, and should be primed beforehand with Primacem Plus or Primacem ABS depending on its absorption.
Can it be used outdoors?
Evoluttion Microbase and Evoluttion Microfino are suitable for indoors and outdoors. Evoluttion Microdeck, however, is designed for indoor floors.
How is it applied?
After priming, apply two coats of Evoluttion Microbase with a metal trowel, sanding between coats with 40 grit. Then apply two thin coats of the finish (Microfino or Microdeck) with a flexible trowel, sanding lightly between them. Do not apply coats thicker than 1 mm; the recommended total thickness is 1 to 3 mm.
Does it need sealing?
Yes. Once hardened (between 24 and 48 hours), it is sealed with the Presealer pore-sealing primer and a Topsealer WT varnish, such as Topsealer WT Dragon, in matt, satin or gloss finish.
What is the coverage of Evoluttion Microbase?
