Covercem® Stone 20kg

Covercem® Stone is a decorative, thin-layer repair mortar from the Covercem® line. Ideal for renovating and consolidating stamped concrete, natural stone, brick, and other cementitious substrates, it offers non-slip, textured finishes and water-repellent protection, achieving a continuous and resistant aesthetic on floors and walls.

Main features

• High-hardness mortar with excellent mechanical and abrasion resistance.
• Applicable in thin layers (1–2 mm), does not crack.
• Mineral consolidant, strongly adhesive, and very breathable; fire-retardant.
• Matte, non-slip finish, and resistant to weathering and UV radiation.
• Can be pigmented with Arcocem® pastes, ideal for restoration and theming.

How to use

1. Protect areas not to be treated.
2. Clean the substrate (dust, grease, efflorescence), and strip if there are varnishes or paints.
3. Mix 20 kg of mortar with 5.5 – 6 L of water until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, let it rest for 3–5 min, and stir again.
4. Lightly dampen very porous substrates, without pooling.
5. Apply 2 coats, allowing 4–6 hours to dry between them.
6. Total curing between 7 and 14 days.
7. Protect with 2 coats of Sealcem® WT or DSV once dry.

Performance

• Approximately 1.5 – 1.8 kg/m² per mm of thickness.
• A 20 kg bag covers about 10–13 m² with 1 mm of thickness.

Storage conditions

Store in a closed container in a dry, ventilated place, between 10 °C and 30 °C. Do not store with excessive humidity or heat; approximate shelf life of 1 year under suitable conditions.
