Classic Mettal Brass is a ready-to-use metallic paint with fine brass particles that offer a bright and sophisticated finish. Developed for coating professionals, it provides an elegant and timeless look for both interior and exterior applications. Compatible with microcement, concrete, ceramics, wood, plasterboard, or metals, this paint allows for the creation of surfaces with high visual impact. It is part of the Classic Mettal range, designed to achieve polished metallic finishes or decorative systems with a rust effect.

Time between coats
- Preparation: clean the substrate and ensure it is dry, firm, and dust-free.
- Priming: apply PRIMACEM ABS if the substrate is absorbent or PRIMACEM Plus if it is not; let dry for approximately 1 hour.
- Application: spread 1–2 coats of Classic Mettal Brass with the selected tool; allow 2 to 4 hours drying time between coats.
- Metallic finish: after 24 hours, sand progressively with grits 220, 800, and 2000 to achieve an intense shine.
- Rust process: apply METTAL ACTIVATOR, wait 24 hours for oxidation, then seal with two coats of PRESEALER and two coats of TOPSEALER WT ONE COAT.
- Protection: apply two coats of Topsealer to protect the finish and ensure resistance to wear and environmental agents.

What is Classic Mettal?
It is a ready-to-use water-based decorative paint with real metal particles (bronze, copper, iron or brass). It lets you achieve a bright metallic finish or an aged, rust-like effect.
What surfaces can it be applied on, and is it suitable for outdoors?
Yes, it is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It is applied on microcement, concrete, ceramic, plasterboard, wood, glass and metals, as long as the substrate is properly prepared.
Does it need to be diluted or have anything added?
No. It is a ready-to-use product: do not dilute it or mix it with additives.
How is it applied?
Clean the substrate and prime it with PRIMACEM ABS (absorbent) or PRIMACEM PLUS (non-absorbent). Then spread the paint with a trowel, brush, sponge, roller or spray gun, letting it dry between coats.
How do I achieve the rust effect?
Apply Mettal Activator over the paint and, once oxidised, seal with two coats of Presealer and two of Topsealer WT One Coat.
How do I get the metallic shine and how is it protected?
Once dry, sand the surface to bring out the shine of the metal. To protect it against stains and wear, apply two coats of Topsealer WT One Coat, allowing 24 h of drying time between them.
