Classic Mettal 1kg Brass ADR LQ

Classic Mettal Brass is a ready-to-use metallic paint with fine brass particles that offer a bright and sophisticated finish. Developed for coating professionals, it provides an elegant and timeless look for both interior and exterior applications. Compatible with microcement, concrete, ceramics, wood, plasterboard, or metals, this paint allows for the creation of surfaces with high visual impact. It is part of the Classic Mettal range, designed to achieve polished metallic finishes or decorative systems with a rust effect.

Main features

How to use

1. Preparation: clean the substrate and ensure it is dry, firm, and dust-free.
2. Priming: apply PRIMACEM ABS if the substrate is absorbent or PRIMACEM Plus if it is not; let dry for approximately 1 hour.
3. Application: spread 1–2 coats of Classic Mettal Brass with the selected tool; allow 2 to 4 hours drying time between coats.
4. Metallic finish: after 24 hours, sand progressively with grits 220, 800, and 2000 to achieve an intense shine.
5. Rust process: apply METTAL ACTIVATOR, wait 24 hours for oxidation, then seal with two coats of PRESEALER and two coats of TOPSEALER WT ONE COAT.
6. Protection: apply two coats of Topsealer to protect the finish and ensure resistance to wear and environmental agents.

Performance

Around 0.2 kg/m² per coat when applied with a trowel. Performance may vary depending on the substrate and application technique.

Storage conditions

Keep in its original packaging, tightly closed and in a dry, cool, and ventilated place (10–30 °C). Shelf life: up to 12 months from manufacturing if stored properly. Do not expose to rain or intense outdoor humidity.
