This solution is designed for professionals looking for exclusive and brilliant finishes in interior or exterior projects. Its high versatility allows it to be applied on microcement, concrete, ceramics, plasterboard, wood, metals, and other stable substrates. Thanks to its water-based formulation, it becomes a sustainable and effective option for achieving design surfaces with character and personality. It belongs to the Classic Mettal range, specially developed to achieve metallic finishes or rust effects with an artistic character.

Time between coats
- Substrate preparation: must be clean, dry, and firm. Apply appropriate primer: PRIMACEM ABS (absorbent surfaces) or PRIMACEM PLUS (non-absorbent).
- Application: spread one or two coats of Classic Mettal Cobre with the chosen tool. Allow to dry for 2 to 4 hours between coats.
- Metallic finish: after 24 hours, sand with 220 grit, then with 800, and finally with 2000.
- Protection: apply two coats of TOPSEALER WT ONE COAT with a 24-hour interval between them.

What surfaces can it be applied on, and is it suitable for outdoors?
Yes, it is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It is applied on microcement, concrete, ceramic, plasterboard, wood, glass and metals, as long as the substrate is properly prepared.
Does it need to be diluted or have anything added?
No. It is a ready-to-use product: do not dilute it or mix it with additives.
How is it applied?
Clean the substrate and prime it with PRIMACEM ABS (absorbent) or PRIMACEM PLUS (non-absorbent). Then spread the paint with a trowel, brush, sponge, roller or spray gun, letting it dry between coats.
How do I achieve the rust effect?
Apply Mettal Activator over the paint and, once oxidised, seal with two coats of Presealer and two of Topsealer WT One Coat.
How do I get the metallic shine and how is it protected?
Once dry, sand the surface to bring out the shine of the metal. To protect it against stains and wear, apply two coats of Topsealer WT One Coat, allowing 24 h of drying time between them.
