Component A Topsealer® WT One Coat Super Matte 5L

The Topsealer® WT One Coat Supermatte 5 L Component A is the water-based acrylic base of the Topsealer® two-component varnish, with a supermatte Premium finish. It is designed to protect microcement, stamped concrete, parquet, wood, or metal surfaces, offering maximum mechanical, chemical-thermal, and visual resistance without yellowing or altering the substrate's tones.

Mixing Proportions with Component B

• Mix 5 parts by weight of Component A to 1 part of Component B, following the official proportion (5 kg + 1 kg) for this presentation.

Instructions for Use

1. Shake Component A and let it rest for 30 minutes before mixing.
2. Combine in a 5:1 ratio with Component B by mechanical stirring at low speed.
3. Ensure the substrate is dry, clean, free of dust and grease; if old varnish was present, sand or strip beforehand.
4. Apply two coats using a spray gun, microfiber roller, or brush, allowing 14 to 24 hours of drying between coats.
5. Sand the first coat with 400 grit before applying the second; the last coat does not require sanding.
6. Application temperature between 15 °C and 30 °C; avoid adverse humidity or cold conditions.
7. Allow a minimum of 7 days for full curing before exposure to water or traffic.

Yield

• 0.15 L/m² for two coats with a supermatte finish, equivalent to ≈ 0.075 L/m² per coat under normal conditions.

Technical Specifications

• Water-based acrylic with aliphatic diisocyanates (component A).
• Total solids A+B: 36‑38 %.
• Density of component A: ~1.02 ± 0.01 g/mL; of component B: 1.045–1.055 g/mL.
• Viscosity A: 20‑30 s (Ford Cup 4 at 25 °C); pH A: 7‑9.
• Persoz hardness after 14 days: ≈ 205 s.
• Taber abrasion (CS17, 1000 g, 1000 cycles): ≤ 80 mg.
• Pot life of the mixture: 60 min at 23 °C.
• Compatible with matte, satin, glossy, and supermatte finishes.

Storage Conditions

Keep in its original sealed container, in a dry, ventilated area, protected from direct sunlight or heat. Recommended temperatures between 10 °C and 30 °C. Product shelf life: 1 year under optimal conditions.
